At the Better Bladder Center, we are committed to providing you a superior patient experience with discrete and personalized care. On your first appointment, we immediately begin working to determine the source of your bladder problems and the best plan of action to overcome them.
Regaining your bladder control is a simple, 4-step process:
1. New Patient Forms
Prior to your first appointment, you’ll need to complete our New Patient forms. This information is necessary for us to be able to make an accurate assessment of your condition.
It is vital that you answer each question completely and honestly, as thorough information is necessary for us to provide an accurate assessment and recommend an effective course of treatment.
2. Medical Records
Whenever possible, please have your referring physician forward us a copy of your medical records. If you are not able to do so, do not worry, we will request the records and review them with you at another visit.
3. Your First Appointment
Your first appointment at our bladder clinic will focus on gathering information and familiarizing you with our practice.
You will evaluated by one our Bladder Specialist Providers and have a complete history in detail and perform a physical and pelvic exam to determine the health of your pelvic floor. All findings will be reviewed with you and a thorough explanation of the normal bladder function, causes of bladder control and support problems, and if we are able to provide you a cure without the need for medicines or surgery. You’ll receive a customized program unique to your condition that will help you regain control.
We will then schedule the necessary follow-up visits before you leave. It’s best to make these appointments as far in advance as possible.
Each week, you’ll come in for an office visit to monitor your progress, which lasts around 30 minutes.
